Google Caffeine Jitters? Not until the end of 2009.

by Andreas on November 16, 2009

CaffeineGoogle Caffeine, the most recent Google update, will go live at the end of this year, according to Matt Cutts. This is actually a good (and merciful) move by Google since the update will not disrupt the online holiday sales. At least not too much.

The Caffeine Sandbox that many SEOs and webmasters have been using to check what the new SERP landscape might look like has also been closed down until the data center goes live.

As far as we have been able to surmise by studying the update data, some of the lower-quality sites have been swept away and established sites with compelling content that had dropped have moved up again. But who knows how the sandbox results will coincide with the actual release at the end of the year. We’ll keep you posted.
